Music from Australia and New Zealand in the year 1984: The Saints’ promo-video for the hit single ‘Ghost Ships’ taken from the 1984 album ‘A Little Madness To Be Free’. This is the closest the Saints had gotten to the original 1974-1976 line-up that recorded the Punk classic ‘(I’m) Stranded’ with Kim Bradshaw (bass) and Ivor Hay (drums) to rejoining Chris Bailey. Ed Kuepper also joined The Saints in this particular year. “If you smile at me, I will understand, cause that is something everybody everywhere does in the same language”..this is definitely an anthem of an era for me..I make these videos to bring honour to a great classic and the artist…to spark a memory or even better introduce it to someone for the first time… The trio’s first album, Crosby, Stills, & Nash, was released in May 1969 and was an immediate hit, spawning two Top 40 hit singles. Crosby, Stills & Nash (CSN) are a folk rock supergroup made up of David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash, also known as Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young (CSNY) when joined by occasional fourth member Neil Young. They are noted for their intricate vocal harmonies, often tumultuous interpersonal relationships, political activism, and lasting influence on music and culture. With Graham Nash’s 2010 induction as a member of the Hollies, all four members of CSNY have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, though Young’s multiple inductions were for work not involving the group. Initially formed by the trio of David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash, the genesis of the group lies in two 1960s rock bands, The Byrds and The Hollies, and the demise of a third, Buffalo Springfield.
