In the future, parity of trade and manufacturing will be the key to the downfall of the world economy, people without work in many countries due to Chinese economic policy will be the fire that will burn the world.

@wiganerrmc if thay didnt do this the the yuan would be alot higher so it would be worth more probley twice as much so there econermy would be 20 trillion alot more than the US but the reason thay do this is because if the yuan went up then there export would have to go up which would probley mean lose costoms

in US loads of factorys are shutting down in china there building 100s a week
china has so much money thay have bourght over 2 trillion of US debt and that is to keep there exports prices down so the dollar is alot better than the yuan
if thay didnt do this the the yuan would be alot higher

GDP is not done directly in US dollars
purchasing power parity (PPP) is done SPECIFICALLY for the purpose to eliminate the difference in exchange rates and judge how rich the country is.
IF GDP IS DONE IN USA MONEY with NO conversion
then the USA has a GDP 3 times that of china, in fact, china wouldn’t even be second it would be japan.

@RainbowShaker I’m American, and I love the fact that we have an ever-growing military. However, I know that it will come back to bite us. If a war (against a first-world country that is) was to break out in a few years, and we’re out of cash (especially if we default on our loans), then having 140 stealth bombers won’t matter. They’ll just be collecting rust. There’s a few fighter graveyards already from the Cold War. We never really got out of that era’s military expansion.

its not a perfect measurement but GDP by PPP is by far the best numerical measurement of a country’s economy, it is far better than random speculation by some asshole on youtube. and yes im talking about you, because you have zero evidence to support that china is richer than the US.
